Cabbage Rolls


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ½ lb ground turkey

  • 1 onion (chopped)

  • 1 cup cooked rice (salted)

  • 2 Eggs

  • To taste salt

  • To taste pepper

  • 1 shredded tomato

  • 2 cabbages (smooth)

  • 2 carrots (grated)

  • 16 oz sour cream

Directions:

  1. Mix first set of ingredients together.

  2. Cut out center of cabbages and boil in salted water until softened.

  3. Roll them up.

  4. Lightly fry cabbage rolls in oil until soft.

  5. Layer cabbage rolls in large pot.

  6. Fry up last section of ingredients. Fry onions first, then add carrots and last sour cream.

  7. Add last fried ingredients to the pot of cabbage rolls.

  8. Fill pot up with water until covered. Salt to taste and boil until soft and meat is cooked through.
