Borscht


Ingredients:

  • Meat of choice

  • 2-3 bay leaves

  • 6 Potatoes

  • ½ Cabbage

  • 2 Beets

  • 2-3 Carrots

  • 1 Onion

  • 3 Garlic cloves

  • 1 pepper

  • 2 Shredded tomatoes

  • Few table spoons ketchup

  • Dill

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Butter

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Boil meat of choice with salt/pepper/bay leaf until cooked. Debone if desired.

  2. Fry onions for a few min, add garlic, carrots and beets and fry some more. Add shredded tomatoes and ketchup.

  3. Add peeled potatoes, all chopped veggies and herbs to taste and cook until potatoes are ready.
