Pork Chops

INgredients

  • 4 pork chops

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp parsley

Directions

  1. Take pork chops out of refrigerated and season both sides with salt and pepper

  2. Set pork chops aside to rest

  3. In a small bowl; mix flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika together

  4. Use a paper towel to pat pork shops dry

  5. Dry rub both sides with spice rub

  6. Heat oil in a medium skillet with lid over medium high heat until shimmery

  7. Add pork chops, cook until golden 2 to 3 minutes

  8. flip the pork so that the seared side is facing up

  9. reduce heat to low, cook 6 to 12 minutes until thermometer reaches 145 F

  10. Transfer pork chops to a plate and cover with foil

  11. Increase heat to medium high and add chicken stock, vinegar, and honey.

  12. Scrape bottom of pan to bring up any cooked pork

  13. Taste and then adjust seasoning with salt vinegar or honey

  14. Slide skillet off heat and when no longer simmering, swirl in butter

  15. Bring pork back into pan and spoon sauce on top

    • Alternative slice the pork, scatter parsley on top to serve
